AK Power Vac was recommended to me by my house inspector last year when he discovered the duct work was not very clean. We purchased the house 2.5 years ago and we immediately had the duct work cleaned by another company. That company got a lot of stuff out of the duct work. I was truly amazed at the stuff that AK Power Vac got out of my ducts after having them cleaned only 2 years prior – things that didn’t belong to us. We suffer with allergies so this was a must. I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and knowledge about HVAC systems. Kristi & Daniel were very courteous, friendly and caring. They did a very thorough job and I highly recommend this company for anyone wanting a really thorough and clean job.

Terry and I just realized that your cleaning did have an impact on our air quality at our Valley Recycling location. The duct static pressure is supposed to be bet 1-2 (set point is 1.8) and for the longest time (years) it’s been 0.1 – no air exchange. There’s a story but I won’t tell it here. Well, we’ve noticed more air flow from the ducts in the office and I checked the DSP today and it is 1.3 LIKE IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE. Michael mentioned cleaning up yellow jackets (some kind of bug) around the heating coil, that he spent 5.5 hours on the roof cleaning and I think that did the trick. We sincerely appreciate your service and we will schedule you to clean again in two years!

Want to thank you, Curtis, for taking the time on this blustery day to help me with my HVAC problem. I did throw the breaker to try to reset and after a few attempts, the system magically came on, stayed on, and is now warming my home. I also checked the pipes outside and stuck something in them to see if they were open and did not feel any resistance so I don’t think that was a problem. Cannot tell you how much I appreciate your taking the time to give me some guidance. Thank you so very much!

My household had sinus issues since we moved into our new/old home. The filters came out looking like lint filters in the dryer. I knew I had to call these guys. They work hard for their money. They don’t take breaks. They are there to get the job done well, but they have all the time in the world to answer questions. They were at my home for 8 hours and pulled out all sorts of things from the HVAC…including a teddy bear. Heat works better and our sinuses are better. Don’t hesitate about calling them. Do yourself and health a favor. Just do it! You won’t regret it.

Do you have forced air heat? New construction, older home, rental? You absolutely need to have your vents, returns, and furnace cleaned by Alaska Power Vac LLC Curtis and Anita are the best! From the first phone call, throughout the cleaning, and payment they were friendly, professional, courteous, and did an awesome job! They took time to answer all my questions and ensure I understood what the process involved. You should have seen the sawdust, sheetrock dust, and building materials that came out of my vents and furnace on a newly constructed home.

Kristi caught a water leak in our crawl space that would have gone unnoticed for months ( until I went down there for Christmas decorations ) it was a significant leak. And Daniel offered ear plugs for my daughter to wear when they started the process. It was so kind of him. I had planned on leaving because I assumed it would be loud, but just offering was so nice. They were just so courteous and mindful of my toddlers. Thank you for making my first experience with having this done a great one. I will recommend you guys to anyone that asks.

My husband and I just wanted to say thanks for an outstanding job done by Daniel and Kristi. Very professional and informative. Plus, they retrieved a very important object that I have no idea got there! They also gave suggestions for things to help improve the functionality of our heating system.
